Discuss with OB: I would expect the OB to be extra vigilant. Since GBS can be transient and is present in 1/3 of women at any time, most screening occurs later in pregnancy or at the beginning of premature labor. IV antibiotics during labor is a standard treatment as oral meds have not been shown to effect outcome.
