Surgery v. Rehab: Sounds like your knee is pretty painful. Depending on the severity of your symptoms (ie. how bad does it hurt, it is swollen, etc) and what your ultimate goals are, you could trial a rehabilitation program or head to surgery. I often will advise trial of rehab initially, though if your pain is severely limiting this may not be a viable option. Surgery has its own set of risks, so talk to your doc
