Will i get general anesthesia for hysterectomy?

Maybe: Hysterectomy can be done with either general or regional anesthesia with sedation. Discuss with your gynecologist and anesthesiologist and let them no if you have any particular concerns.

Probably,: some gynecologists don't like their patients to be awake during the surgery but you can be sedated also. But you can have a major regional anesthesia such as an epidural, which will provide pain relief in the recovery room and can be extended to your room after the surgery
