In India: Hi. Teriparatide is the most potent drug we have for osteoporosis, but it's only available in the US as Forteo from Eli Lilly. Bonista (NOT to be confused with Boniva, (ibandronate) a bisphosphonate drug for osteoporosis) is a generic teriparatide available from Ranbaxy only is India. If you have severe osteoporosis, I suggest you see a doc comfortable with treating that and discuss options. Fall prevention!
