See below: SF is superficial femoral artery. From your brief description, it sounds like you had temporary compromise to the circulation in your leg. That can be from spasm, clot, or tear. It must be okay or you'd be in pain and they would have operated. However, to not exacerbate it, they did not use a closure device which, otherwise, would have been used.
