Someone i know has been diagnosed with this type of rare skin cancer . . . dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (dfsp) what is the survival rate?

Very good survival: DFSP is a low grade malignant tumor. They have a habit of regrowing if any left behind..... If completely excised, they are cured. If neglected, they only rarely metastasize, and only rarely turn into a more aggressive sarcoma tumor.
