Suggestion: Platelet number has a wide range (150 - 450,000). But I suggest you to follow your PCP for the stability of your platelet. If keep dropping or persistent low, you may want to see an hematologist for work-up. If you have easy bleeding or bruises, associated with very low platelet, you should seek medical attention immediately. But do not be scared, see your doctor first and see where you stand.
