A member asked:

Can you tell me for how many maximum days periods can be delayed after taking an i-pill?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

10 days: Periods may be delayed by 7 to 10 days after taking emergency contraception. It also depends when in the cycle you took the pill. The later in the cycle you take the pill, the longer it will take for your period to come. Keep using protection if you are sexually active. In your age group, some women are getting close to menopause. This may delay your period even longer.
