I'm a woman and just been diagnosed with chronic rectal intussusception. not that much info about it. does anyone here know much above it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: chronic rectal intussusception occurrs due to laxity of pelvic floor muscles especially if you have had several children or maybe just large babies. it can be treated permanently with surgery called an altmeier procedure. ask your doctor about it.
