Stop Meds, Change?: If you stop your meds your symptoms should diminish if medication related. If you use stimulants, the reversal will be within days. If you use non-stimulant meds, you should run a trial of stimulants to see the effect on you ADHD and on your other problem. Switching from one type of stimulants (MPH to AMP) could also alleviate the problem. Stimulants are the 1st line of meds for ADHD.
