What to do if i have severe reactions to liothyronine?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Don't need T3 (liothyronine): Hi. Why are you on liothyronine (T3)? You don't need to supply that. If you take levothyroxine (T4), your body regulates conversion of T4 to T3 and you get all the T3 your body needs. But that aside, it's possible your "severe reaction to liothyronine" was perhaps dose related. Talk it over with your doc. Good luck!
