Thrombosis: Thrombosis is a fancy word for blood clot. If some ones heart arteries a prone to clotting due to narrowing caused by atherosclerosis (hardened arteries) then yes ... thrombosis is the last event. That is why Aspirin is generally recommended for people who can take Aspirin to reduce clotting.
