Epidural back pain: Epidurals are less likely to cause back pain than the lumbar hypercurve during the last stages of pregnancy. Sometimes, epidural placement may cause transient pain. Good exercise routine esp. in water would help significantly. If the pain has been going on for long, have it investigated with an MRI and a consult to a pain specialist. Good luck...
