Individual foods: This time of year all kinds of fresh vegetables are hitting the farmers markets. Cook up carrots, beans, greens, etc and then place in ice cube trays overnight. Pop out the cubes and freeze in freezer zip-lock bags. Come mealtime, grab a cube or tow, heat up and instant fresh, home cooked veggies! Works great for the various squashes in fall as well.
