Not a great combo: i would discourage drinking anymore than one or two drinks while taking Cymbalta (duloxetine). It's not a good idea to mix alcohol with most psychotropic medication. If it's being used to treat a Major Depressive Episode, alcohol can refuse the effectiveness. I would be very careful mixing alcohol with that medicine. Ask your doctor what he or she thinks.
