Rarely affects it.: Chemotherapy when given over a prescribed period of time such as in the neoadjuvant setting or post surgery rarely effects fertility. In the presence of metastatic disease where long term therapy is given then there is a chance of infertility. This can be true when doxorubicin and Ifex (ifosfamide) are employed for advanced metastatic sarcoma.
