A member asked:

Does grapefruit juice really increase the effects of oxycodone?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: grapefruit juice can interfere with certain enzymes in the liver that are involved with the metabolism of a number of drugs, and for that reasons many hospitals have eliminated grapefruit and its juice from their menus. However, oxycodone is not one of those drugs.
