How to know if i'm not producing enough hcg ?

By doing the level: The blood pregnancy test - HCG - goes up as soon as a woman becomes pregnant, and will double every 2-4 days in the first trimester in a normal pregnancy. To know if the HCG level is rising appropriately I have my patients check the blood HCG level 3-4 days apart. That will show if the level is rising appropriately.

Some women just do not produce dectatable hCG even after weeks later. They keep getting false neg test when they r in fact preg. Why is that?
