However, undue or unnecessary amounts of stress causing psychological harm can change the function of the immune system. Make it worse: A few anecdotal reports on stress contributing to relapses or more intense symptoms, but not fully cause and effect per se. However, you do not list your medications, and use of a disease modifying agent would protect you against ups and downs of disease state. Also, make sure you have adequate vitamin D levels.

Stress & MS: Frequent stress may not directly have an impact on MS, or its medical course. Aerobic exercise (like an exercise bike, jogging or walking) seems to help people with MS. Stress may get in the way of doing this beneficial activity.
