Hiv progers to aids cd 4 count is 156 now what doctors do and its has hodgkin lymphoma ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

AIDS: Sorry to hear about your predicament. You are correct that a CD4 count of 156 is AIDS. This also requires taking new medications for prophylaxis--prevention--of opportunistic infections. At a CD4 count of 156, the main additional drug is trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole to prevent PCP. As for the lymphoma, that will usually need chemo. To fully address these consult an infectious disease specialist.
