A member asked:

How long should i experience pain for with a nondisplaced radial head fracture of the elbow?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

6-8 weeks: Generally it take about 6-8 weeks for this fracture to heal. Being over 50, if you have any osteopenia it may take a little longer. It is really important that you continue to work on being able to straighten your elbow! Do not let it get stiff in the bent position. You should work on the range of motion at lease a couple of times a day. Just let pain be your guide as to when and where to stop
