Can't say: Without an actual examination, I cannot give specific medical advice on your particular health, AND... leftover blood from surgery often gives dark brown mucous 1-2 wk later w/out any infection. Or... could be infection. Signs of infection, INCREASING pain/redness/discharge or fever/chills.
