A member asked:

Can sinus drainage cause loose stool and diarrhea?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It shouldn't: In theory, if you have a huge amount of mucus, that can pass through into your stool and cause diarrhea, but usually this is only seen in infants and children. But many viruses, such as adenovirus and enterovirus can cause runny nose (not a sinus infection) and loose stool, so something like this could account for your symptoms.
