Pain and Rheumatic F: Rheumatic fever can present with many different symptoms. Not everyone will display all of the possible symptoms, and some will have some symptoms worse than others. The heart is involved with a condition called carditis which can cause chest pain, difficulty breathing, cough. Abdominal pain, joint pain, and sore throat pain are also known to this condition. Cannot comment on your specific case.
