Two important ......: .......points to remember: 1) some antipsychotic drugs are sedating, and some are not; if sedation is not a desired effect, your psychiatrist will help you choose a drug without sedative properties. 2) if termination of antipsychotic treatment is gradually done (monitored by your psychiatrist), withdrawal symptoms, such as insomnia, are less intense, and they disappear after awhile.
