Sciatic nerve pain: Various causes of pain exist. In pregnancy the joints become more lax, and low back and hip pain is common. Also, the sciatic nerve, a large nerve running down the back of the thigh, can become compressed and painful during pregnancy. Luckily this pain goes away after the birth.

Pain: Unfortunately this is common in late pregnancy. Gentle stretching and frequent rest breaks are called for.

Pelvis twisted: As you progress in the pregnancy, your pelvic ligaments stretch out to allow the baby to eventually pass through. Unfortunately this also allows the pelvis to rotate and as the baby drops into the pelvis it begins to put pressure on your low back disks and nerves. Try lying on the floor with your feet on the wall. Push your back flat onto the floor and gently lift your pubic bone to the ceiling
