A member asked:

Feels like something is eating at my stomach. i get nauseas when there's pressure on my stomach. should i go and get check out?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes – you should: Hopefully this is nothing more than gastritis, an inflammatory irritation of your stomach lining. Are you taking a lot of aspirin, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medication – Advil or Aleve? Medications combined with caffeine and stress can irritate your stomach. It's worth checking out. In the meantime, Tums, Zantac, (ranitidine) Prilosec OTC or other anti-acids are reasonable.
