Check HB A1c: There are now over the counter kits available for checking your Hb A1c. That should give you your average blood sugar over last 8-10 weeks. Alternatively if any of your family members or friends have been diagnosed with diabetes and using a glucometer you can test your blood glucose, ideally before a meal. Values over 130, you have to check it more than once, will speak for diabetes.
