It may be hard to: Accept however, down's syndrome is probably an accurate diagnosis. There is no cure, however, with good educational help children with down's syndrome can do well, learn a trade and lead healthy lives. They tend 2be very loving sweet people. There are multiple sites on social media that can help you and your family learn ways to help your cousin thrive and reach their highest level of functioning.

Tips: This is a genetic disorder. It's not treated, but it is managed. Best information will be provided by pediatrician. Go to https://www.Ndss.Org/down-syndrome/what-is-down-syndrome/ also many children with Down syndrome have underbite because of small upper jaw. Make sure to see orthodontist at age 7 who can expand upper jaw to match lower jaw, eliminating the underbite.
