Stop smoking!!!: Nobody can diagnose the cause of chest pain without getting a complete medical history, doing a full examination, and often getting further testing like an electrocardiogram and/or a chest x-ray. At 16, it is highly unlikely to be anything very serious, but if it worries you enough to ask about it, the proper thing would be to see your health care professional and be evaluated. And stop smoking!

Chest pains: Pain in your chest is a serious medical condition. It is always a red flag and appointment with your pcp is warranted. Rec.: see your pcp for further investigation or referral to cardiologist. Take care and take this as an opportunity to quit smoking.
