My 7 yo son constantly sniffs, clears his throat and mouth stretches. we have tried allergy meds to no avail. he does it so much his throat is raw?

Possible Tic: It is possible that this is unrelated to allergies. He may have developed a tic. If so, then this will often resolve on its own. Drawing it to his attention can make it last longer. This is just a thought based on his symptoms. I would have him evaluated by his physician.
