Diagnosis: Dizziness is a non-specific term. The causes vary from low blood pressure, hypothyroidism, low blood sugar and hyperventilation. If you have vertigo, true spinning, then the diagnosis may be an inner ear problem which can be diagnosed and treated. Telling a doctor that your are dizzy is not going to help. You have to specifically describe your symptoms for a proper diagnosis.

You can check your pulse for irregular beats high blood pressure can cause dizziness ear and sinus infections can cause dizziness dehydration can cause weakness and dizziness uncontrolled diabetes also can have similar effects if you have heavy menses or anemia, this can also be a cause these are just a few examples, your doctor can help.
