Orange Obstacles: Agent orange herbicide is extremely toxic and has been shown to cause a host of delayed health problems for those exposed. Short term exposure followed by blood testing can detect absorption in the immediate post-exposure period as can urine studies. Exposures that occurred years ago cannot be confirmed by blood testing or urine. The va has a specific program for exposed veterans.
