A member asked:

High platelet count (478) and low mpv (6.4). what does this mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Need more info: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, you mpv is okay. Platelet count is high. First thing to rule out is iron deficiency, especially in a woman of reproductive age.
