Yes, there are many: Conditions in a differential diagnosis when dealing w/anxiety disorder and cardiac conditions are part of it. This is frequently seen in the er. After your doc rules out medical conditions you might consider stopping smoking. Smoking can constrict blood flow and make your symptoms worse as well as raise the probability for future illness. Anxiety attack: Your description matches an anxiety attack and not so much a tia. Treating anxiety should take care of the symptoms. This should be readily addressable by your primary care doctor.
