My eye doc says there is a minimal amount of surgery that can be done to correct diplopia. i don't qualify. what is the minimum?

,double vision: Can be corrected surgically if there is a significant eye muscle imbalance. With a small amount of deviation or imbalance it is best to correct it with prisms in the glasses. Surgery does have its risks.

Diplopia: Surgery to correct diplopia can be done in many cases. If you wish a second opinion, seek a strabismus specialist.
