Nappy rash: A red diaper rash usually indicates a candida or fungal infection. You can apply Nystatin oinment to the nappy area after cleansing area with soap and water.

Ointment: Some rashes respond well to simple ointment like petroleum jelly. Some need desitin (zinc oxide diaper cream) or a&d. Some might require Nystatin but the rash should be checked.
