No: No. Tylenol (acetaminophen) is the trade name for Acetaminophen and you should not take more because it can cause liver damage and possibly liver failure.

No need: If a patient is taking an analgesic combination that contains Acetaminophen and an opioid (hydrocodone + acetaminophe n= vicodin), the amount of daily Acetaminophen taken can be a more critical factor than the amount of opioid. You can take these medications safely by carefully reading the directions and by understanding what drugs are in the products you take. Get some antipyretic otc. Be well.
