No: The normal parent will give his or her normal gene to their baby. That means the baby will have one abnormal and one normal gene, meaning the baby would be a "carrier" of one bad gene and not suffer the actual disease. The only way the baby would end up with 2 abnormal genes is if the gene from the normal parent got altered by a new mutation... Which is unlikely to happen.
