A member asked:

Pathology of my gallbladder showed granulomatosis is this likely to be in other parts of the body?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Granulomatosis of GB: Are you sure its granulomatosis or is it adenomyomatosis. If it's the latter don't worry, if there are multiple granulomas than this can have many causes and would be unlikely that it was isolated to the gallbladder. The causes of granulomas include tb, histoplasmosis, sarcoidosis, to name a few of the most common.
