Dryness: One suggestion is to wash her hair with soap which doesn't remove hair oil as much as shampoo does. A good beautician can also give good advice about hair problems and care.

Sounds like dandruff: Consider using over the counter selsun shampoo. Also can try over the counter Nizoral (ketoconazole) a-d. If no improvement, need to see doctor and be evaluated for other conditions like scalp psoriasis.

Probably dandruff: You may be having either dandruff or allergic skin condition of scalp.Both condions are common.You can try salsun shampoo to wash your hair twice a week, watch if it helps otherwise use Hydrocortisone skin ointment on scalp twice daily for 1 week .If no relief see dermatologist.
