Long list: Heart is not the only generator of chest pain. Other common pain generators are thoracic spine, thoracic nerve roots, intercostal nerves, pleura, major blood vessels (aneurysm), esophagus... Every pain generator has it's own specific characteristics, but sometimes the diagnosis can be very tricky.
