You don't mention: How long it's been going on or if she has fever, but if she has a "barky" cough ; wheezing, it's best to seek medical care today to find out if it's due to infection, inhalation of a foreign body (peanut, popcorn seed, small non-food item) or any other cause, so that she can receive appropriate treatment in a timely fashion.
