Used benzoyl acne medication for a year.i stopped 6 months ago, skin still flushes a lot and turns red when using anything in area med was. suggestions?

Likely not related: You likely have sensitive skin. Presumably you were using the BP on your face which is a sun exposed area. Since the BP was stopped 6m ago, this is likely not the reason. Look at other culprits like facial products, hard scrubs and other medications. Also, use moisturizers and sunscreen liberally.

Benzyl peroxide: Prolonged use of benzyl peroxide causes photosensitivity. You might try using a sunscreen or a mild steroid cream to overcome the flushing and redness.
