TMJ : You have listed symptoms of congestion and nasal drainage. If their is fullness in the ear, this could be contributing to your problem. However TMJ is more likely what is being described. Short term help for TMJ can be local relief with a warm pack and ibufprophen such as advil. Since it hurts with motion, avoidance of chewing and opening wide would be of benefit as well. Soft foods. See doc.

Probably: Sounds like TMJ. NSAID like Advil (ibuprofen) may help. Depends on symptoms, and cause of symptoms.Self treat with soft diet, jaw exercises, massage, heat/cold, OTC pain meds. and no clenching.
