They will...: ...Assess your dietary requirements (particularly if a special restriction is warranted as in the case of weight loss goal, celiac disease, diabetes, heart disease, renal impairment, etc.) and help you develop a meal plan appropriate to your medical condition and food preferences. They are highly trained and eager to assist--give them a call!

Dietitian: A nutritionist, or "registered dietitian" is educated to assist in the treatment of various medical conditions through diet manipulation (macro and micronutrients). They can assist in the treatment of diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and digestive problems, just to name a few. They attend five years of college and often have Master's degrees as well.
