PT or INR?: The normal prothrombin time is closer to 10 seconds. You may be confusing the INR, although an INR is normally 1.0 ; if you take certain types of blood thinners it could be 2-3. So, if you are asking what happens if your INR is >= 11: You could bleed to death. It is nothing to fool around with.
