Disc protrusion: Talk to your spine surgeon and discuss your options. Unless your symptoms are referrable to this level, or the imaging findings are severe enough to warrant an interventional procedure or surgery, you may not have to do that much. Many disc protrusions are managed conservatively. They can regress on their own or remain stable for years.
