Celiac: You could just strictly cut gluten from your diet. Gluten is a protein in wheat, barley, and rye. Get to know the "hidden" gluten like soy sauce and beer, and be sure to avoid those, too. Cutting back on gluten is not good enough.

Gluten free diet: If you have been diagnosed with Celiac disease, the primary treatment is a gluten free diet. Gluten is a protein primarily found in wheat, however it is an additive and many processed foods. It may even be wise to see a dietitian to get on a strict gluten free diet. It also may be possible for you to have a sensitivity to gluten but not have celiac disease, treatment is also limiting gluten.
