See ENT: The most common cause of ear pain in adults is blocked Eustachian tubes. Second common is pain due to acute infections of the middle ear. If you suffer from acute ear pain, it's best to check with your ENT or primary care physician and find out why. The NSAIDs are widely used to manage pain caused by inflammatory before you see your physician.
